KARACHI: Factory manager shot dead

KARACHI, Sept 13: A young man was gunned down by unknown persons in Azizabad on Wednesday. Mohammad Bin Saeed was going in his car (ALM-993) when unknown persons opened fire at him. The attackers escaped from the spot following the accident.

Police said that the victim suffered two bullets.

The deceased was a manager in an industrial unit of Site area, police said.

STABBED: A young man was killed by unknown persons in Gulshan-i-Maymar on Wednesday.

Police said Sanobar Khan, a chowkidar, was stabbed to death early Wednesday morning. Police said the deceased was asleep when he was stabbed by unknown persons.

ACCIDENT: Two persons died in separate road accidents in different parts of the city on Wednesday.

Police said a pedestrian Rai Wali, 30, was knocked down by a speeding Afradi coach in Korangi Industrial Area.

The victim was taken to Jinnah Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police have claimed to have arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle.

In North Karachi, a motorcyclist died in a hit and run accident near Nagan Chowrangi.

Police said Junaid was passing through Nagan Chowrangi when a speeding vehicle knocked him down before speeding away from the spot.
