One killed, 19 injured in Sann accident

DADU, Sept 13: One person was killed and 19 others were injured in a road accident when a Sehwan-bound passenger wagon collided with a donkey cart in Sann on Wednesday. The dead was identified as Pandhi.

The injured were taken to a Sann hospital where the condition of six injured, Mohammad Moosa, Fida Hussain, Yousuf, Bakhshal, Sarwar and Arshad is stated to be serious.

GOVT CRITICISED: Sindh PPP President Qaim Ali Shah has said that the people of Sindh were facing more victimisation than they had faced during the regimes General Ziaul Haq, Yahya Khan and Ayoub Khan.

He said the martyrs of the MRD had laid their lives for the just cause of democracy and had followed the footsteps of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.

Speaking on the 23rd death anniversary of the MRD martyrs at the community hall Khairpur Nathan Shah on Tuesday, he said that now the people wanted change and restoration of democracy.—Correspondent
