KARACHI, Sept 20: Three ships including Danuta with 40,000 tons of raw sugar are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where five ships, APL Dalian, Gulf Pride to unload and load containers, Panthera, to offload and load general cargo, Shipping Land-6 to offload coal and Huang Shan to offload and load general cargo were berthed.Only one ship, Corin Thaikos departed on Wednesday, while Panthera, APL Dalian and Gulf Pride are expected to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was modest where a total tonnage of 65,756 tons comprising 9,656 tons of export cargo and 56,100 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Danuta, with 40,000 tons of raw sugar for local processing, Iran Kordestan, Mol Silver Fern, with containers.
