Published September 28, 2006

KARACHI, Sept 27: Nazim of Gulshen Iqbal Town Muhammad Wasay Jalil has assigned volunteers to personnel of traffic police at all important roundabouts, roads and signals in the town to ensure smooth flow of traffic during Ramazan.

He inspected traffic flow at Hassan Square, the U-turn infront of Usmania Restaurant, Mumtaz Manzil, University Road, Gulshan Chowrangi and other places on Wednesday and instructed traffic police and volunteers to keep the flow of traffic uninterrupted and make optimal arrangements for this purpose.

Meanwhile, the sidewalk before Usmania Restaurant has been made no-parking zone by erecting barriers so that people could not park their vehicles at the roadside and the inflow of traffic from the U-turn is not affected.—PPI
