Award for lecturer

PESHAWAR, Sept 29: In recognition of her outstanding performance and services in the academic sector, Intel Corporation and Education Department has conferred the Intel Education Award on lecturer of Statistic Department Government Girls Degree College Mardan, Samina Effat.

Ms Effat has been given the title ‘Teacher of the Year’ for 2005-06.

Provincial Education Minister, Maulana Fazal Ali Haqqani gave away the award during a ceremony held here on Friday.

Ms Effat has earlier been given the title of ‘Best Statistics Teacher’ by Peshawar Education Board.—APP
