KHAIRPUR, Nov 18: A woman was killed in a clash between two groups of villagers over a piece of agriculture land in the jurisdiction of Sobhodero police station on Friday. Malookan, 55, wife of Bagoo Lashari, received bullet injuries and died during an exchange of fire between two groups of villagers over a piece of agriculture land.

Complainant Hazaro Lashari lodged an FIR with the Sobhodero police station under section 302, 324 of the PPC on Saturday. However, no arrest was made till the filing of this report.

FIR LODGED: One Allah Rakhiyo Mangnejo lodged an FIR against seven people, including Ghulam Nabi, Mohammad Sharif, Ghulam Ali, Mashooq and others here Friday night.

The complainant alleged in the FIR that the accused persons kidnapped his brother Mohib Ali Mangnejo from cotton field on November 10 and released him after accused Ghulam Nabi received a ransom of Rs300,000. However, no arrest was made till the filing of this report.

KILLED: One person was killed when he was hit by the engine of a train on the Luqman railway Phatak here on Friday night.

The deceased was identified as Ali Dino Mahar said to be a rickshaw driver and resident of Luqman. It is said that the deceased was crossing the railway track by foot when the accident took place.
