Robbers injure woman

LAHORE, Jan 15: Robbers injured a woman for putting up resistance in the Sabzazar area on Monday. Two robbers intercepted Yasmeen and tried to snatch valuables at gunpoint. They shot at and injured her when she resisted.

MURDER: An unidentified young man was found dead in the Kot Lakhpat area on Monday.

Police said the body of the man, around 35, was found stuffed in a sack from Gowala Colony.

BURNT: A teenaged gypsy was burnt to death while his three friends sustained serious injuries when a fire broke out in their hut in Badami Bagh on Monday.

Police said Gul Khan, 14, along with his three friends had lit a fire to warm themselves in their hut set up in an empty plot at Siddiquia Colony and later went to bed without extinguishing it.

The fire engulfed the hut as a result of which Gul Khan burnt alive while his friends were rushed to Mayo Hospital with critical burns.—Reporter
