GUJRANWALA, Jan 16: Participants at a police inspector’s marriage blocked GT Road for hours on Tuesday as some guests displayed fireworks and resorted to aerial firing, violating the ban.

Reports said the marriage procession of organised crime in-charge inspector Imran Abbas reached the city from Hafizabad in a caravan of about 1,500 vehicles. Some participants resorted to aerial firing and displayed fireworks which continued for hours on GT Road.
