LARKANA: Two women shot dead

LARKANA, Jan 21: Two women were shot dead and another was injured while two minor girls were kidnapped in Qambar town late on Sunday night.

The assailants reported to be from Larkana broke into the house of the victims near the railway crossing in Qambar town.

They showered bullets on the inmates resulting in the instant death of Haneefa, wife of Inam Mastoi, and Sadooran 65, while Ms Zakia Mastoi received injuries.

The alleged killers later kidnapped Sajida 5, and Rabia 10, and escaped.

They were identified as Inam Mastoi and Shoukat Mastoi, both of whom are brothers, police said and added that the double murder was the outcome of a domestic dispute.

Ms Zakia Mastoi, with bullet injuries, was admitted to Chandka Medical College Hospital while the bodies were also removed to CMCH for autopsy.

Due to tense relations, the alleged killers and their family members were residing separately in Larkana and Qambar, sources said.
