KARACHI, Feb 8: Two ships carrying containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships, B.B. Vigor to load cement, Hyundai Future, Y.M. Faha, Oel Patriot with containers and Ali-15 and Yasmina to unload and load general cargo and Gemini, tanker were berthed.

Four ships, APL Dalian, Y.M. Faha, Stolt Ami and Ali-15 departed on Thursday, while Red Sea Spirit, Kota Merdesa and Oel Patriot are due to sail out on Friday.

A total tonnage of 0.109m tons comprising 40,163 tons of export cargo including 1,993 tons of rice, 2,410 tons of cement and 12,097 tons of clinkers and 68,416 tons of import tonnage was handled on Thursday.

The following ships are due on Friday: Boon Fu and Iran Besbaei with containers.
