DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Feb 20: Three people, including a man and his son, were killed when a jeep they were travelling in hit a trailer and overturned near Pasha Pull on Tuesday.

Witnesses said that the jeep driver in a bid to save a child hit the trailer. As a result, three occupants of the jeep were killed on the spot.

The jeep was going from Panyala to Dera Ismail Khan.

APP adds: Two deceased were identified as Imanullah Gandapur and Sadullah Gandapur. The name of the third one could not be ascertained.

INJURED: Two people were injured when rival groups clashed over a land dispute in the Bagwani area on Tuesday.

Witnesses said that the two groups attacked each other with clubs and axes, and one man from each side was injured.

Police registered a case against four accused and started investigation.
