Softball camp from March 6

KARACHI, Feb 20: A training camp for Karachi softball players in preparation for the forthcoming National Games will be held in the metropolis from March 6-8 at the KPI ground, Saddar, a Karachi Softball Association (KSA) media release said on Tuesday.

The KSA will also hold the training course for softball players, coaches and umpires on March 17, 2007 here at a local hotel in connection with the upcoming sporting fiesta.

The KSA has asked all the interested participants to contact Mohammad Zeeshan, secretary KSA to confirm their participation in the course.

Softball is one of the 27 disciplines to be competed in the mega National Games 2007 event, scheduled to be held here from April 9 to 13, 2007. —PPI
