Madressah girls vow to continue occupation

ISLAMABAD, Feb 27: Students of the Madressah Hafsa occupying the Children’s Library have said that they will end the occupation when the government rebuilds demolished mosques and implements Shariah in the country.

The seminary students have asked the government to rebuild the seven mosques demolished in the capital by the authorities within a month else they would take action.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday at the Lal Mosque, the girl students said that the government should rebuild Amir Hamza mosque at Muree Road, Syadna Ibn-i-Abbas mosque at Orchard Road, Amir Hamza mosque at F-10/3, Syadna Ali mosque at New Katchri, Omer bin Abdul Aziz mosque at Prime Minister’s Staff Colony, Al Safa mosque at I-8/3 and Omer mosque at G-8 Markaz.

Students would take to the roads and rebuild the mosques if the government failed to rebuild them in a month time, they added.

They said that the occupation of the library would continue till the implementation of Islamic Law in the country and rebuilding of all the seven mosques.
