ISLAMABAD, Feb 28: Maj-Gen Arshad Waheed would take over as the new director-general of the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday.

He would replace Maj-Gen Shaukat Sultan, who has been appointed General Officer Commanding (GOC) Lahore.

Maj-Gen Waheed was commissioned in Armoured Corps in 1975. He is a graduate of the National Defence University Islamabad and Turkish War College, Istanbul. He has a vast experience of command, staff and instructional appointments at various levels.— Our Reporter
