Iqbal Qasim resigns

LAHORE, March 19: Former Test cricketer and member of national selection committee Iqbal Qasim has tendered his resignation over Pakistan's dismal performance in the 2007 World Cup in the West Indies. Sources told Dawn that the former left-arm spinner had sent his resignation to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday. However, chief selector Wasim Bari, when contacted, said he was unaware about Iqbal's resignation.
