Rockets fired from across border

MIRAMSHAH, March 24: Seventeen rockets fired from across the border landed in the Dandi Kach area of North Waziristan on Saturday, injuring one tribesman, officials and residents said.

Local people said houses of two tribesmen Afsar Khan and Dway Jan were also hit by rockets. Afsar Jan was slightly injured in the attack. The rockets were fired from the Jaji Midan area of Afghanistan’s Khost province.—Correspondent
