TOBA TEK SINGH, April 14: Highwaymen killed a bus guard and robbed passengers on Friday night on Khanewal-Pirmahal Road. Passengers told police that when the Multan-bound bus reached near Head Sidhnai, four robbers who boarded from Faisalabad, whipped their arms out and started robbing them. Gunman Siddiq of Gojra put up resistance and one of the robbers shot him dead.
One of the felons drove the bus towards Ravi spur after removing driver from the seat and escaped with cash, mobile phones and other valuables worth more than Rs200,000.
Police have failed to find a clue to robbers.
