ST PHILIP (Barbados), April 15: England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff turned up for training on Sunday despite fresh health worries ahead of next week's crucial World Cup Super Eights match against South Africa.
“He does not have glandular fever. He had a test yesterday. He has had a chest infection for the last 10 days. He is fine... (and) he is here (training),” an England spokesman said during the team's practice session.
The spokesman added Andrew Strauss had bruised his left leg playing volleyball but he was also training.—Reuters
