Junior tennis squad leaves for India

LAHORE, April 15: A four-member Pakistan squad left for India to take part in the World Junior tennis championship to be held in New Delhi from April 16 to 21.

Faizan Khurram, Hira Aashiq and Syed Zohair Raza are the three players in the squad, while former national champion Inam-ul-Haq is accompanying them as non-playing-captain.

Around 28 countries are taking part in the championship.

Inam said the team was selected on merit and all the players were well prepared to deliver.

He pointed out that some of world’s most competitive countries’s were competing and could not predict chances of Pakistan's win.
