KARACHI, April 19: Hewlett-Packard (HP) on Thursday held its annual technology event at a local hotel to promote its new products and ideas.
A large number of HP business partners and IT resellers attended the event and they were introduced with latest Intel vPro technology based PCs, IPAQ 500 mobile phone and many other exciting range of IT products that included notebooks, workstations, printers and scanners etc.
The HP presenters described salient features of these products and informed the audience about some unique functionalities of Intel vPro PCs which were said to be 40 per cent faster than the other available PCs and also consume 40pc less electricity.
The new PCs based on new technology were very useful in improving patch and asset management, security problems and making manageability of large number of users easier especially of corporate clients because of special features that had also provided protection from hacking.
These products can suit the needs of the local corporate and SMB market.
