PESHAWAR, April 21: The Sarhad Micro Finance Network is holding its second annual Mela at the Peshawar Garrison Club on Sunday.

According to a press release issued here on Saturday, around 45 participants from across the country were expected to exhibit their products. They include 16 organisations from Sindh, 10 form Punjab, 15 from the NWFP, two from Islamabad and one each from Balochistan and Northern Areas.

The purpose of the Mela is to promote the microfinance sector by sharing knowledge amongst stakeholders, establishing a direct link between players and improving their services and outreach.
