LAKKI MARWAT, April 21: A three-day polio campaign will commence on April 24 to immunise more than 130,000 children below five-years of age in district Lakki Marwat.

A meeting to review arrangements for the campaign was held at the district coordination office here on Saturday. Executive District Officer health Dr. Muhammad Iqbal said that as many as 318 mobile units, 48 fixed and eight transit teams would go from house to house to administer the polio drops in the area.

APP adds: The polio campaign beginning on April 24 will vaccinate 207,000 children below five-years of age in Bannu district. Wazir Baka Khel, Mohammad Khel, Jani Khel and Daryoba have also been included in the campaign.
