KARACHI, April 25: Six ships carrying general cargo, containers and to load rice are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Harmony, Corin Thaikos, APL Sokhna and Nyzdan to unload and load containers and Move Sea to offload cars were berthed after the departure of three.

The ships, which departed included Wan Hai-303, Sinar Bali and Lady Sama, while Haje Khereh, Nova Sea, Swat, APL Sokhna, Caribbean Carrier, Hyderabad, Nyzdan and Sanie are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 0.112m tons comprising 21,201 tons of export cargo and 90,939 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Dominator to load 20,500 tons of rice, Raya with base oil, Oel Express with containers, Nordtide to offload coal, Sargodha to unload and load general cargo and Iron Butterfly with project cargo.
