KARACHI, April 25: Election for the heads and new members of two committees of the City District Government Karachi was held here on Wednesday with Naib City Nazim Ms Nasreen Jalil in the chair.
Mirza Afaq Baig was elected Chairman of the Finance & Budget Making/Planning & Development Expenditure Committee whereas Mohammad Khalil, Abdul Rashid Baig, Younus Qureshi, Mohammad Saghir and Saeed Ghani were elected new members of the committee.
Itrat Jahan was elected Chairperson of the District Expenditures Committee and Mazhar Alam, Imran Saeed Baghpati, Syed Mohammad Farid Zaidi, Sohail Jamot, Furrukh Kamran Farooqui, Sohail Qadir, Sikandar Hassan Baloch, Karim Bux Gabol, Mohammad Salman Khan Baloch and Kishwar Zuhra as new members of the committee.—PPI
