Two killed in separate incidents

ISLAMABAD, April 25: A labourer was electrocuted in a house at Golra village on Wednesday, police said.

Hussain Ali Khan, 25, suffered electric shocks when the mechanical concrete sprayer he was using shot-circuited in the house of Ghulam Mohammad.

On hearing his screams, other labourers working in the house rushed to his rescue and found him lying on the floor unconscious. Later, he was taken to a nearby hospital where he died.

The body was shifted to the mortuary of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) for legal process.

In another incident, a man was killed in a traffic accident in the jurisdiction of Sihala police.

The police said a truck (LWC-7986) coming from Mandi Bahauddin rammed into a trailer (AJKC-4050) on the GT Road, when the driver tried to overtake the trailer on the wrong side.

As a result, Mohammad Inayat, travelling in the truck died on the spot. The body was shifted to a hospital. The police arrested the truck driver on charge of reckless driving.

Meanwhile, two vehicles were stolen from different parts of the city on Wednesday.

Some thieves lifted a white alto car (JZ-478) belonging to Zafar Iqbal from Shakarparian in the jurisdiction of Aabpara police.

Mohammad Aslam lodged a complaint with the Margalla police that he had parked his alto car (KX-763) at G-9 Markaz from where it was stolen.
