PML women to hold rally

Published April 26, 2007

LAHORE, April 25: The provincial women wing of the ruling PML is holding a rally in the city on Thursday (today) to support the presidential reference against Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and to demand that opposition parties should not try to bring the judiciary under pressure.

The rally will be held on The Mall.

The ruling party is also thinking of holding a big rally in Islamabad on May 12 to express its support for the presidential reference against the Chief Justice of Pakistan.

Party sources say the date may be changed in case the situation so required.
