Gang preparing fake currency smashed
SHEIKHUPURA, May 1: A gang involved in preparing fake currency notes was smashed by a joint team of Farooqabad and Bhekhi police here on Tuesday.
The police also recovered fake currency notes worth Rs250,000, from accused Asif, Manzoor, Iqbal, Nisar and their accomplices.
During the preliminary inquiry, the accused came clean of circulating fake currency notes worth millions of rupees in the market.
