Three injured in incidents

ATTOCK, May 8: Three persons were injured in two separate incidents here on Tuesday.

Atif Ali reported to the Sadder police that he along with his friend Zafar was on way to Boota village in a rented car when an unknown person intercepted the vehicle near Haro bridge on Attock-Fatehjang road and opened fire on them. As a result, they sustained injuries and were taken to the district headquarters Hospital.

Meanwhile, Tanveer Khan, an employee of the highway department, was injured when a speeding rickshaw hit him.

OUTLAWS HELD: The Attock police have arrested Farooq, Mohammad Tariq, Mohammad Imran, Noor Habib, Amir Sarwar, Mohammad Khalid, Mohammad Amin, Ghulam Shabir, Shehzad, Imran and Ejaz and recovered four pistols, a revolver, 1,140 gram hashish and 310 gram heroin from their possession in various areas of the district.
