MIRPURKHAS, May 17: Two passengers were killed when a Kekra (the local name for archaic trucks still used in Thar desert area for human transport) hit a motorcycle rickshaw near Naokot on Thursday. The deceased were identified as Abdul Sattar and Sadiq Khoso.
The Naokot police took the bodies to the Naokot hospital for autopsy and impounded the truck but failed to arrest its driver who had fled after the accident.
