KARACHI, May 26: Seven ships carrying cars, palm oil and coal are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where 10 vessels, Jabel Ali, PAC Antlia, Oel Express, Eric G. Gibson to unload and load containers, Kee Lung to offload DAP fertiliser, Split to unload coal, Pacific Express, Multan to unload and load general cargo, Gemini to offload palm oil and Earth Blue to offload tallow were berthed.

Five ships, Johar, Jabel Ali, Conti Harmony, Steela-M and Al-Wakrah departed on Saturday, while Eric G. Gibson, PAC Antlia, Nyzdon, Oel Express, Overseas Primar, Multan, Atlantic Express, Empress Phoenix, Gemini, Earth Blue and Gallant Blue are due to sail out on Sunday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was fairly active where a total tonnage of 0.115m tons comprising 37,911 tons of export cargo and 76,698 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Oriental Rose with 7,800 tons of palm oil, Hayley Nadhi, Bunga Kenari, Viking Merlin, Gallant Wave with containers, Ducky Sapphire with 268 cars and Golden Lion with 35,819 tons of coal.

The following vessels are due on Monday: Iran Tabatbaei, Mol Ability, Amasis with containers, Pacific Camp with coal, Spring Hammer with steel cargo and Iron Butterfly with project cargo.
