Port Qasim

KARACHI, May 26: Four ships carrying rice, coal and containers were allotted berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Saturday.

Berth occupancy fell to 50 per cent as only five ships, Noor-e-Mustafa, Sea Lion, Sargodha, Lucieng and CSAV Ningbo, were busy in loading and unloading wheat, furnace oil, coal rice and containers.

A cargo volume of 65,825 tons comprising 51,308 tons of import and 1,517 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was slow as Sea Lion and Lucieng left the port.
