Missile seized, suspect held

LANDI KOTAL (Khyber Agency), May 26: Local authorities have seized a missile in the Loe Shalman area and arrested a suspect. An official of the Landi Kotal administration, Haji Meenadar, told Dawn that the Khasadar force seized the Russian-made “missile” lying on the banks of the Kabul River near the Sheenpokh Killi area.

The Khasadar personnel arrested Abdur Rahim, an Afghan, in the locality. The sources told Dawn that Abdur Rahim had been arrested some time ago by the US forces in Afghanistan for his alleged links with militant groups, but he was released later.—Correspondent
