Galyat to get more projects

PESHAWAR, May 26: Adequate funds will be allocated in the provincial budget for the Galyat area for initiating scores of new development projects that have been included in the new annual development programme, according to NWFP Minister for Local Government and Rural Development Sardar Muhammad Idrees.

He warned that delays would not be tolerated and stern action would be taken against officials on public complaints. He was talking to the officials concerned and local people during a surprise visit to the development projects’ sites in various areas of the Galyat.

The minister highlighted the achievements of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal government and said the provincial government had come to power only to serve the poor masses.—Agencies
