QUETTA, Aug 25: Nawabzada Talal Akbar Bugti, chief of his own faction of the Jamhoori Watan Party, claimed on Saturday that 15 personnel of the law enforcement agencies were killed in Sungsila area of the Dera Bugti district in reaction to the kidnapping of 10 boys and eight girls allegedly by security forces twelve days ago.

In a statement issued here, Talal said he had been informed on Friday night that there was resentment among the tribesmen against the security forces for kidnapping youth and girls at gunpoint in the area.

The JWP leader said that the Bugti tribesmen also killed two security forces men in Patfeedar area of the Nasirabad district three days ago in reaction to the unlawful act of the security forces.

He said that in the tribal society no one tolerated insult to women and it was in the interest of the government to stop the security forces from arresting women.

Nawabzada Talal said that the situation in Balochistan was not different than that of East Pakistan in 1971. He said that the JWP as part of the All-Parties Democratic Movement would continue struggle against the Musharraf government to restore civilian rule in the country.
