KARACHI, Aug 30: Waqas Khan and Sajid Ali’s half-centuries coupled with Qamar Awan’s four-wicket haul powered Zone-I Whites to a resounding 114-run victory against Zone-II Whites in the KCCA U-17 Inter-zonal championship final at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium on Wednesday.

Batting first, Zone-I Whites totalled 230-8 off the allotted 50 overs with Waqas (73) and Sajid (64) leading the scorecard. Both added 118 runs for the second wicket. Sami Arshad (3-58) and Latif Junejo (3-77) were the main wicket takers.
