Militants form new group

GHALANAI, Oct 22: Five militant groups have set up an organisation called Tehrik-i-Taliban in Mohmand Agency to eliminate elements operating as Taliban. The organisation’s spokesman Abu Nauman Askari said the militant groups had joined forces and would work in coordination to flush out gangs carrying out criminal activities in the name of Taliban. A 16-member Shura was formed to coordinate activities of the groups.—Correspondent
