BUNER, Oct 24: Two persons suffered injuries in bomb attacks onthe offices of the Population Welfare Department (PWD) and National Rural Support Programme (NRSP) in Daggar on Wednesday.

According to local people, three explosions damaged the offices and two vehicles. A PWD official said office assistant Mir Shah and driver Arshid were injured in the blasts.

The owner of the building which housed the PWD office said he had received threats from some people alleging that the government department was involved in anti-Islam activities.

The Daggar tehsil council in a meeting on Wednesday condemned the series of blasts and urged the government to enhance security measures in the district.
