KARACHI, Nov 3: Seven ships carrying containers and general cargo are due to arrive the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity was brisk as here eight ships, Naftocement to load cement, Hansa Stavanger, Sima Sabba, Oel Shreyas, Tenth Ocean, Y.M. Fortune to unload and load containers, Aqua Star to offload general cargo and Southern Bull, tanker, were accommodated berths.

Sailing was also active as many vessels departed, which included Hyundai Stride, Harmony, Hansa Stavanger, Sea Princess, Bow Century, Notori Dake, Southern Bull and Akaki, while Lastos, Sima Sabba, Emerald Isle, Tenth Ocean, Aqua Star, Oel Shreyas and Y.M. Fortune are due to sail out on Sunday.

Cargo handling was maintained on the higher side at the wharves where a total tonnage of 0.114m tons comprising 29,257 tons of export cargo including 4,517 tons of clinker and 85,174 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Conti Harmony, Moisavi, Satha Bhum, Wan Hai 311, Cosco Lian Yun Gang, Global Progress with containers and Chitral with general cargo.

The following vessels are due on Monday: Mol Admiration, Helenc with containers and ITC Golden to load 36,000 tons of clinkers.
