Mr Khan announced gas projects for Sarai Naurang, Pezzu, Ghazni Khel, Tittar Khel, Tajazai, Shahbaz Khel areas in the district, adding that the gas supply project for Sarai Naurang tehsil would soon be launched at a cost of Rs50 million.

He said that provision of basic amenities like gas and electricity was government’s priority, adding that the government would make all possible efforts in this regard.

Highlighting various major projects were already under way in the district to improve the socio-economic conditions, he said they included the Kurram Tangi dam, Gandi Khankhel-Dera Ismail Khan road project, construction of grid stations and establishment of a cadet college.

He urged the people not to be misled by the propaganda of the opponents and vote for honest and dedicated people in the elections.—APP
