Addressing the members of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) on Monday, Kokyo Tamaki, Jetro expert and special adviser to FPCCI, said most of the Japanese companies wanted to open their offices in big cites particularly in Islamabad and Karachi.

The expert informed that Jetro had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with FPCCI for the provision of technical assistance under its expert services abroad for improving business environment.

ICCI President Nasir Khan said that Jetro was acting as a bridge between Pakistan and Japan. He assured that Japanese companies would be fully encouraged for their investment in mega projects and all cooperation would be extended to them.

He appreciated the efforts of Jetro for promotion of business and developments in important sectors like automotive, engineering, textile etc.
