KARACHI, Nov 21: Two ships carrying containers and edible oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Wednesday. Meanwhile, five more ships to load and offload containers, rice, diesel oil and edible oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Five ships, Nedlloyd Oceania, Leopard-B, Antonis, Bunga Melati-5 and Yanaseni, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, rapeseed, edible oil and chemicals.

A cargo volume of 73,895 tons comprising 41,169 tons of import and 32,726 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Yanaseni left the port while Nedlloyd Oceania and Bunga Melati-5 were expected to depart.
