LAHORE, Dec 1: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf chairman Imran Khan called on Justice Sharif on Saturday and presented him a bouquet, says a press release.

The former judge appreciated Mr Khan’s decision to boycott elections and his stand for the rule of law and independence of judiciary.

Later, the PTI chief went to the residence of Justice Ramday, but the security personnel did not allow him to meet the former judge. A security guard told Imran Khan that Mr Ramday had been detained and no one could have a meeting with the former judge.

Meanwhile, PTI Punjab secretary-general Muhammad Amin Zaki has said that after the elections boycott, the executive committee of the party would evolve its future strategy at a meeting to be held on Sunday (today) at Zafar Ali Road office.

Mr Khan will attend the meeting and announce the party’s future course of action.
