Singh greets Musharraf

ISLAMABAD, Dec 1: Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Saturday greeted President Pervez Musharraf on his re-election and expressed the hope that ties between two countries would get better.

Mr Singh in his message to Mr Musharraf extended greetings and felicitations on behalf of the government and people of India.

“My government is committed to the establishment of good neighbourly relations in all spheres between India and Pakistan,” the message released from Pakistan’s Foreign Office said.

“We look forward to further enhancing our ties for the mutual benefit of our peoples.”—APP
