HYDERABAD, Dec 2: As many as 2,500 candidates appeared in entry test held by the Sindh Agriculture University in 16 cities of Sindh and at the university campus for admission to different faculties for the academic session 2007-08.

Among the candidates 400 were girl students, 227 from Balochistan, 36 from Azad Kashmir, 31 from the NWFP and eight from the Northern Areas.

As many as 125 candidates appeared in the test for admission under self-finance scheme. Seven hundred candidates appeared at the university campus centre.
