Asif seeks treatment in Australia

LAHORE, Dec 2: Unfit fast bowler Mohammad Asif, dealing with a nagging elbow injury for sometime now, left for Australia on Sunday night for a medical check-up.

According to a Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) spokesman, Asif will be seeing a specialist soon after reaching Australia.

The bowler was sent there after PCB received varied opinions regarding a cure for his problem from the local specialists. Some suggested medicines, while others advised surgery.—Sports Reporter
