UET campus groundbreaking

FAISALABAD, Dec 4: Caretaker Prime Minister Mohammadmian Soomro is scheduled to visit the district on Dec 5 (today).

Punjab Governor Khalid Maqbool and other officials will accompany him.

The PM will lay the foundation stone of the University of Engineering and Technology's campus and distribute Baitul Maal cheques among the deserving for the treatment of hepatitis.

Mr Soomro will also hold a meeting with industrialists at Circuit House and distribute export trophy awards among exporters. It is the first visit of Mr Soomro to Faisalabad after assuming the office of the caretaker prime minister.

Meanwhile, the district administration and police have made all arrangements.
