China to promote ties in oil, gas

ISLAMABAD, Dec 8: Ambassador of China, Lou Zhao Hui called on Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources, Ahsan Ullah Khan here on Saturday and discussed with him matters pertaining to promoting bilateral cooperation in the petroleum sector.

The ambassador hoped that Sino-Pak historic friendly relations would further grow and flourish during the tenure of the minister.

Ahsanullah Khan said Pakistan and China enjoy historic deep rooted friendship and both the countries were cooperating in all spheres of life for the mutual advantage.

During the meeting, the Minister lauded the Chinese companies contribution involved in oil, gas and mineral exploration activities in Pakistan.—APP
