GUJRANWALA, Dec 8: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has suggested that opposition parties should unite on one point of agenda — restoration of judges instead of marathon Charter of Demands.
Speaking at the district bar association here on Saturday, the PTI chief said that only independent judiciary could make possible the elections free of rigging.
He said that election under the umbrella of emergency and PCO was a conspiracy against the country while the movement for boycotting elections would continue.
Mr Khan alleged that the caretaker government was corrupt while half of the sitting judges of the apex court should be sent behind bars because of their involvement in corruption.
Ripping to shreds PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto for taking part in the election under protest, he said that on the one hand she was saying that the government was planning rigging while on the other she was eager to contest polls.
