KARACHI, Dec 25: Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Prof Atta-ur-Rehman has said that a 15-year vision of the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) is being prepared for which a two-member committee has been constituted.

Chairing the 13th meeting of the university’s senate, he said the committee, consisting of Prof Mohammad Iqbal Chaudhry and Dr Qamarul Haq, would soon complete the draft and dispatch it same to the HEC.

The HEC chief held out the assurance that the problems being faced by the institution would be resolved, and hoped that the university would play a pivotal role towards better education and research.
