TOBA TEK SINGH, Dec 25: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz workers will foil the Pakistan Muslim League-Q’s attempt to manipulate the Jan 8 elections, says PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif.

Addressing a public gathering in Rajana on Tuesday, Sharif said his party was struggling for the restoration of ‘true’ democracy and reinstatement of deposed judges.

He said the Chaudhrys’ rule was ‘replete’ with corruption. He said government officials should not favour PML-Q candidates. He asked people to vote for Junaid Anwaar (NA-93) and Ayub Gadhi (PP-87).

FAISALABAD: Sharif said the general election would prove a referendum for those who saved the country and those who pushed it to instability. Addressing public gatherings in Dijkot and Samundri, he said the erstwhile former rulers ‘plundered’ national resources and wrote off loans worth billion of rupees.

“The gap between the rich and the poor is widening with the every passing day, the law and order situation is critical and land grabbers and criminals are striking with impunity,” he added.
